newscaster’s report that Satan is in control or that God has abandoned His world. Christ has risen and is reigning. After Israel’s Egyptian bondage came the exodus. After her exile in Babylon came the return to Palestine. So the crucifixion of Israel’s Messiah was not the end of a sad story but the beginning of a glad story. The resurrection led to an ascension and a coronation at the right hand of God. The Revelation opens our eyes to see the conquest of this King who rules from a Heavenly throne.
